An architectural floor expansion joint system with a combination of recessed coverplate and thermoplastic seals. This seismic system is designed to house a range of floor-finishes. The seals and floor-finish provide a flush transition. Seals are purpose-designed with smooth ripples to accommodate more movement than other inferior designs. They are made from dual-durometer santoprene for use in areas where hygiene is imperative. SiDX floor joint systems are prominently used in hospitals….but this type of system can be used for many applications such as apartments, public buildings (museums), retail centres, airport terminals and other commercial buildings.
