SiBy is designed to ensure smooth transitions across movement gaps. It has high movement capacity in all directions. Designed for both small and large seismic movement gaps, it can accommodate cover plates from 6mm to 10mm thick. The cover plate is flush with surrounding aluminum housings, during normal seasonal-thermal shifts. Enabling a smooth transition for shopping trolleys, pedestrians and vehicles. It also has capacity for second phase of movement during seismic event. The sliding plate housings are mounted with edges flush with carpark wearing surface. This preserves the wearing surface, protecting the concrete edges. A heavy-duty system designed for carparks for shopping & convention centres, airports, hospitals and other commercial buildings.
